Mayor Watson will continue to collaborate with Owensboro Police Department to ensure that Owensboro remains a safe place to raise a family.

Mayor Tom Watson adeptly manages Owensboro's budget, ensuring smooth operations with minimal taxpayer funds. He stands out as the sole mayor to have inherited city debt and transformed it into a budget surplus by the term's conclusion. Mayor Watson won't shackle our children to millions of dollars of debt.

Keep Owensboro Moving Forward

Despite substantial private investments in recent years, there is still considerable room for progress. Mayor Watson's connections to Frankfort and Washington D.C. provide him with a competitive advantage in attracting new industries and high-paying jobs to Owensboro. Additionally, these ties enable him to secure federal and state funding for initiatives such as our High Density Drug Trafficking Area designation, granting us added resources to combat drug-related issues in our city.
